Hand Carved Story Stick: Pickle

Length:  39 inches

When the raw sappling was prepared for carving, Mike saw the images of a snake and a rabbit on it.  The poem and images were developed from this observation.

Carved Text:  Was Pickle plain foolish?   Or was he just brave?   He always took chances: Just danced on his grave.  Now eyeing the rabbit,   The snake calmly stood   But Pickle's not scared   The cobra is wood!  (by Mike Johnson)
